Though it would've been a little bit more in-depth. I couldn't find a way to clip items either so all the tables were inline. In was annoying to see that some tables were not symmetrical. Maybe I'll have another go down the line, at the moment I'm staying away.. Amazing game. Playing on Early Access right now. The game is playable, but a few bugs are slightly boring to deal with (which is expected, since it is early access after all). However, patches are coming up very often and improving drastically the experience. I can't wait for the full release. Edit: Game is still being constantly updated, and improving quickly. Came back to it after a couple weeks, and almost all frustrating things from before are gone!. There don't seem to be very many options... It's like the game basically plays itself. I don't see a challenge or progression even necessary. If I had to use one word to describe the game in its current state, it would be "sterile".... The concept of this game is awesome. I have been waiting for a game like this for a while. Was really excited for it but after playing nearly 2 hours, it became depressing quite quickly. In the last 4 days of in-game time, the game bugged out so many times, I got annoyed and unfortunately refunded. My reasons for quitting the game;When turning music down in main menu options and clicking apply, during game it would shoot back up.No proper tutorial to show what everything in UI does.When you hover over some of the UI icons, no description except top bar where money is displayed.I had to keep restarting the game to try and fix issues. Waiters were getting stuck on tables and glitching out. Chefs wouldn't move from doorway to kitchen at all. Guest stopped coming for 5 days in a row even though previously guests were giving high reviews.Can NOT close restaurant over night or skip to next day at all. Cannot rotate staff roster.For all the reasons above, I'm sorry but IMO, its not worth the price.Things the developers need to improve;Gameplay needs a little more improving and made easier to play at the beginning.Give more freedom with controlling staff.Give the option to advertise business Improve tutorial and make it more entertaining.Fix issues with Sound.Introduce an Options menu within the game and not just main menu.Who knows, maybe down the line I may return.. This is a great game but requires a little rebalancing to make it work properly. The days are too short so struggle to serve one table more than once in a shift and money is ridiculously tight. I had a restaurant with good reviews and full but could barely break even with a skeleton crew and minimal maintenance much less use advertising or anything else. But to do that, we needed to rework how customers work in the game. We felt like that the current system wasn’t clear enough, we wanted players to have a precise idea of how many people could come to the restaurant with a certain setup. That’s why we reworked the existing customers’ bars that appear in the Menu Panel and in the Policies Panel.What’s new? Well, let’s start with the fact that there will finally be a clear number representing how many people may currently be interested in coming to your restaurant. All those numbers represent the actual pool of customers of the restaurant and the bars have now a different role: they indicate the Attractiveness of the restaurant’s offer. While previously the Menu composition directly affected the number of people in the pool, with imprecise effects, now the pool can only be affected by your Popularity and your efforts to reach new districts expanding the influence you have in the city.It will now be possible to know how many customers will pay a visit during the day, and you will be able to carefully assemble the menu and develop tactics to maximize profits. There will also be a much rewarding progression, since you will have to deal with low-budget customers at the beginning (including the infamous Cheapskates!), and slowly conquer more and more districts to gather enough high-budget customers to finally be able to serve only them in the restaurant!We are now finishing all mechanics related to the City Map and the player’s expansion in it, and we will soon share more info regarding this major update with you!
